Crotons are the standout of houseplants with their colorful leaves.  'Magnificent' has green leaves are splashed with yellow color.  As the plant matures, it becomes more drought-tolerant, and the leaves turn to shades of oranges, pinks, reds, and maroon.

Keep the potting soil evenly moist and mist weekly to keep humidity high.  If the soil dries out, the bottom leaves will drop off.

Bright sun is needed for the plants to keep their color.  A south or west window with direct sun is recommended.
